How this website works

1. Static Webpages - This web page and everything you're reading is being served to you through the AWS CloudFront CDN. Specifically from the ~~~~~~~~ edge location, which is approximately ~~~ kilometers away from you!
2. Web API - But if this was all static it wouldn't be very interesting, so the dynamic content is delivered through an API running on AWS Lambda. This part is hosted in Sydney because so it's close to our backend database.
3. Database - Let me be clear, this website definitely DOES NOT need a database. However, AWS is practically giving them away these days. So we can make 200,000,000 queries every month completely free!
   I haven't implemented an auto-redraw on my mortgage, so please don't DoS my login endpoint.
